The AEMC MF 3000-14-1-1 HF (2126.86) MiniFlex High Frequency Sensor is a compact flexible AC current transformer composed of a flexible sensor and an electronic module that is designed to measure from five hertz to one megahertz. The flexible sensor permits measurements on conductors where standard clamp-on probes cannot be used. In particular, the sensor can be installed in confined spaces, places where access is difficult, or even wrapped around irregular shapes. This unit is well suited for connection to any oscilloscope with a BNC input (not included) for analyzing complex-shaped current and transient present in electronic power supplies, welding stations, and more.

The MF 3000-14-1-1 HF (2126.86) is lightweight and does not use magnetic cores like standard transformers. The transformation principle is based on an air core. This unit presents virtually no load to the system under test, has a low phase shift, excellent frequency response from five hertz to one megahertz at negative three decibels, and cannot be damaged by overloads. The sensor assembly is insulated for 1000V CAT III and 600V CAT IV ratings. The MF 3000-14-1-1 HF (2126.86) meets EN 61010 and is CE marked.

The MF 3000-14-1-1 HF (2126.86) has a millivolt output proportional to the current measured for direct readings on oscilloscopes, DMMs, data loggers, and power or harmonic meters. True-RMS measurements are taken when connected to a True-RMS meter (not included). The MF 3000-14-1-1 HF (2126.86) is insensitive to DC currents and only the AC component of the measured signal is measured.
