The AEMC MN82 (2135.71) AC Current Probe is designed for use with the AEMC 6471 and 6472 Ground Resistance Testers (not included). Use of a single probe with the Fall-of-Potential methods allows for selective grounds to be measured. Use of two probes allows for grounding electrodes to be measured without the installation of auxiliary rods.

The AEMC MN82 (2135.71) AC Current Probe is designed for use with the AEMC 6471 and 6472 Ground Resistance Testers (not included).

When a single probe is used in conjunction with the traditional Fall-of-Potential method, selective grounds can be measured by moving the probe from point-to-point around the grounding system. When two MN82 probes are used in conjunction with the 6471 or 6472 Ground Resistance Tester, grounding electrodes can be measured without the necessity of installing auxiliary rods and conducting a full potential measurement. This is referred to as the stakeless method.
