The AEMC MR6292 (2129.86) AC/DC Current Probe is an accessory for the AEMC 6292 Micro-Ohmmeters (not included). This probe is required for using the 6292 main unit to take measurements in Both Sides Grounded (BSG) mode.
The probe is designed to meet the latest safety and performance standards. The probe’s hook-shaped jaws enable the user to 'pry' into or 'hook' onto cables. This design accepts two 500 MCM cables or small bus bars.
The AEMC MR6292 (2129.86) uses Hall effect technology in which all electronics are self-contained in the handle. The output of the probe is 10 millivolts per amp. No battery is required as the probe operates via voltage provided by the 6292 main unit. The probe has a proportional millivolt output for direct reading on the 6292 main unit as well.
