The Fluke SOL-MODULIFT2M Solmetric PV Module Ladder Pulley System is designed to transport PV modules onto a rooftop safely and quickly without damaging them and without the need to use a motor or engine. The pulley mechanism's 'hook' securely attaches to the PV module's frame and prevents lateral sliding during transport.

The Fluke SOL-MODULIFT2M Solmetric PV Module Ladder Pulley System is designed to transport PV modules onto a rooftop safely and quickly without damaging them. This system aids in reducing installer fatigue and complies with OSHA ladder safety standards. Setting up the system takes less than five minutes and can be performed by one person.

Pulley

The pulley assembly attaches to the top of a ladder and includes a brake that prevents the module from sliding back down the ladder in case the bottom operator releases the rope too soon.

Ramps

The ramps allow the module to slide gently over any discontinuities in the ladder surface, such as steps between ladder sections.

Easy Operation

The Module Lift operation is simple and protects both the operators and modules while in use.

The module 'hooks' attach to the edge of a PV module frame and prevents lateral sliding of the module in the hook slots. The hooks have a universal design to accommodate all common PV modules with frames.

An operator on the ground pulls the rope to raise the module. The module slides along the outward facing surface of the ladder rails and gently over the ramps.

When the module reaches the top, an operator on the roof removes the module and releases the brake to lower the handle and prepare for another module.

Ladder Compatibility

The Module Lift uses an existing ladder and is compatible with fiberglass extension ladders from Louisville and Werner (not included). Aluminum extension ladders are not compatible with the Module Lift.

Module Protection

Whenever transporting PV modules, protecting them from damage and microcracking is a major concern. The Module Lift is designed to minimize impact throughout the process.
