The General Tools 523 Adjustable Trammel is ideal for transferring measurements, scribing arcs, and drawing large circles. Distances beyond range of conventional compasses or dividers can easily be measured or marked with this tool. Eccentric points which can be replaced by pencils, ballpoint pens, crayons, or soapstone sticks are included. The fine adjusting screw allows for point setting.

The 6" scribing points are adjustable, and can also be replaced with pencils, pens, crayons and soapstone for marking various surfaces. The heavy-duty clamps will fit 5/8" to 1-1/2" beams of any length.
