The Greenlee APT-1 (52087311) Active Power Tester is designed for use on insulated or uninsulated overhead conductors within the 7.6kV to 13.2kV voltage range. It indicates the absence of full line voltage with sound and lights. It flashes lights and alarms to warn nearby workers that an energized overhead conductor is de-energized.

The Greenlee APT-1 (52087311) Active Power Tester, 7.6kV to 13.2kV, is designed for use on insulated or uninsulated overhead conductors within the 7.6kV to 13.2kV voltage range. The APT-1 indicates the absence of full line voltage with sound and lights. The APT-1 is not suitable for use on shielded primary cable in either overhead or underground installations.
The APT-1 will flash lights and sound an alarm to warn nearby workers that an energized overhead conductor is de-energized. The lights and alarm will sound for as long as the line voltage is substantially below the APT-1 rated voltage. When line voltage is restored, the APT-1 lights and alarm will stop.
