The Hakko FH800-05SV Silver Iron Holder is for use with the FX-8805/8801 Soldering Handpiece and FX-888DX Soldering Station. The iron holder base has a bottom plate to hold the cleaning wire and to collect solder waste. Rotate the cleaning wire as needed to a clean side where solder is not accumulated. To remove the solder waste, push the side lock and remove the bottom plate. The side lock keeps the bottom plate in place. To ensure proper soldering, add water as needed to the front part of the iron holder. The small sponges absorb water and keep them moist. Wet the large sponge before placing it in the iron holder. Use the moist cleaning sponge and the cleaning wire to wipe oxide from the soldering tip.
