The Hakko FT802-53 Thermal Wire Stripper with Hot Knife is designed for use with a variety of insulated wires (including Teflon), features a built-in blade removal and handpiece holder, and has a compact shape to help maximize workbench space. The Hakko FT802-53 Digital Thermal Wire Stripper Station is designed for use with a wide variety of insulated wires, included Teflon. The station features an integrated handpiece holder on the top of the station to maximize workbench space, while also providing a shield to prevent burns. The holder on top of the station also has a blade removal plate, which allows users to remove the blades from the handpiece without touching them.
The FT-802 Station is supplied with the FT-8003 Hot Knife Handpiece. This bundle therefore is ideal for users who prefer to use the hot knife over the standard FT-8004 Wire Stripper handpiece (sold separately). The FT-8003 handpiece has the same performance when used with the FT-802 when compared to being used with the FT-801.
