The Hioki PW3360-21/500 PRO KIT Clamp-on Power Logger Kit with Harmonic Analysis is a multi-channel power measuring device utilizing clamp sensor input to accurately and safely measure power on single-phase to three-phase lines. The compact PW3360-21/500 PRO KIT 3-phase 4-wire energy logger monitors power demand and other power parameters to aid in energy audits and validate energy saving measures.
Graphical, easy-to-use displays of wiring procedures
The PW3360's QUICK SET feature is an on-screen guide that walks users through the setup process, right up to starting measurement. Operators will be able to easily configure and connect the instrument for 3-phase power measurement. In addition, by alerting users to any wiring mistakes, the device's "wiring check" function serves to prevent measurement errors that are caused by undetected wiring mistakes.
Measurement results displayed as a graph
The PW3360 displays recorded measured values as a graph for convenient use in power management. In addition to instantaneous measured values, users can review maximum, minimum, and average values by moving the cursor on the demand and trend graph displays.
Portable logger accommodates all worksites
This power logger is an essential tool for power-saving activities. Thanks to a compact design that weighs just 1.2 lbs (550 g), it's easy to take into the field and install in confined locations.
Battery power (model PW9002, included) provides about eight hours of continuous operation. In addition, a Voltage Line Power Adapter (model PW9003, sold separately) is available to power the PW3360-21 from the measurement lines.
The operating temperature range extends from -10 to 50°C (14 to 122°F). Even under battery operation, measurements can be performed from 0 to 40°C (32 to 104°F) [0 to 50°C (32 to 122°F) when using LAN communication].
Loaded with useful functions
Note: At least one optional current sensor is necessary to measure current or power parameters.
Simultaneous Measurements
The PW3360-21 simultaneously measures three single-phase 2-wire circuits in the same system.
Pulse Input
The pulse input function can be used to record power data and production volume counts simultaneously. The power data and pulse volume (production volume) information are useful for unit cost production management.
Pulse Output
Use the Pulse Output function to acquire temperature and pulse (electrical energy) data simultaneously with a data logger. Evaluate the relationship between air conditioner temperature control settings and power consumption.
Leakage Current Measurement
With the leakage current clamp on sensors, turn the PW3360-21 instrument into a 3-channel leakage current logger to help identify trouble spots. The PW3360-21/500 PRO KIT includes three 500A AC clamp-on sensors (model 9661).
Harmonic measurement
The PW3360-21 allows users to analyze voltage and current harmonics on a 50/60 Hz power line from the fundamental waveform to the 40th order. The power logger displays the RMS value, content, and phase angle (numerical list or graph display) for each harmonic order. It also offers a vector display of power phase angle.
Maximum, average, and minimum values can be saved in binary format to an SD card at each interval. Use the included SF1001 software to select and display a time series graph of fundamental, third- and fifth-order current harmonics.
Power Logger Viewer SF1001
Data saved to an SD card (included) or internal memory can be loaded into a PC for expanded display, aggregation and analysis.
On the same time axis, view measured power consumption and equipment operating status at specific intervals, along with equipment characteristics and management details.
