The Klein Tools 63607 Ratcheting ACSR Cable Cutter provides high leverage with minimum effort. Forged, heat-treated, shear-type blades cut 400 MCM copper, 600 MCM aluminum and 336 MCM ACSR. Users are provided with long steel handles that have heavy vinyl grips for comfort and slip-resistance. The two-step ratchet mechanism requires fewer strokes per cut. Selectively-hardened blades and reduced hand force make it easier to cut ACSR. Users are able to easily open the blades in any cutting position to remove the cable with the quick release lever.
