The Klein Tools VDV501-770 Scout Pro Max Network Cable Tester With Remote Set locates, tests, and measures data, phone, and coax cables to ensures accurate installations. It can also troubleshoot RJ11, RJ12, RJ45, and F-connector terminated cables. This unit measures cable lengths (via TDR) and detects distance to faults. A full color backlit screen and internal memory allows users to store, download, and output test results for effortless report management. Tests shielded and unshielded cables. Users can trace up to 20 locations at a time with the included remotes. The Klein Tools VDV501-770, empowers users to perform hub blink testing, and measure active and passive Power over Ethernet (PoE) to test the network capabilities. It can also test POTS, and detect active network capabilities and connection speeds up to 10Gbps.
