The LX Microscopes by UNITRON LFOD150 150W Fiber Optic Illuminator with Dimmer features a dimmable 150 watt halogen light source which produces up to 6,450 footcandles at a 4.5 in. working distance. A dimmer switch enables the operator to select the exact amount of light desired. Ample light is delivered even for sensitive jobs such as wire bonding or soldering of fine-pitch components.
The LFOD150 can be placed on a work surface in the conventional position of facing the operator. Alternatively, the 'rubber feet' on the back allows for the unit to be placed in a vertical position to occupy an even smaller footprint.
