The Metcal MFR2241 is a Dual Output Soldering and Rework System with Power Supply, Solder Cartridge/Tweezer Cartridge Handpieces, and (2) Workstands, 60W. It is the best choice for small or large production environments which need a versatile soldering system with a small footprint.
- System includes MFR-PS2200 Power Supply, MFR-H1-SC2 Solder Cartridge Handpiece, MFR-H4-TW Tweezer Cartridges Handpiece, MFR-WSPT Tweezer Handpiece Workstand, WS1 Universal Soldering Workstand
- Hand-pieces ideal for fine-access soldering, SMD rework, pad clean-up, and SMD removal of 0201 resistors to 28 mm long SOIC
- Dual output capability allows users to select operation of one or two hand-pieces simultaneously
- 60W output means sufficient power, while using lower and safer temperatures
- SmartHeat tips and cartridges sense load and instantly deliver correct amount of heat to joints
- No calibration required, saving time and money
The Metcal MFR2241 Dual Port Simultaneous Soldering & Rework System, 60W, with MFR-PS2200 Power Supply, MFR-H1-SC2 Soldering Cartridge Hand-piece, MFR-H4-TW Tweezer Hand-piece, and Workstands, is a powerful, cost-effective system that has a wide variety of options and accessories to meet just about any application. The MFR-2241 power supply has 2 outputs, so your operators can use 2 hand-pieces simultaneously. Five hand-pieces are also available, including a desoldering option, so that the MFR-2241 can meet just about any need.
The MFR-2241 uses SmartHeat Technology, a microprocessor controlled heating system which operates at lower temperatures and eliminates calibration time. With both soldering and desoldering capabilities, the MFR-2241 eliminates the need for two separate units.
The MFR-2241 series is the best choice for small or large production environments which need a versatile soldering system with a small footprint.
