The TKMZ-8TR-A features true trinocular viewing. What this means, is that you no longer have to sacrifice an eyepiece image, to redirect the image to the video port. You can use the TKMZ-8TR-A as a standard stereo zoom microscope, as well as be able to view video on an LED screen, or on a PC, in real time.

The included 5MP Hybrid HDMI/USB Camera features an advanced imaging and measurement software suite that runs on all versions of Microsoft Windows as well as Mac OSX. In USB mode, images may be viewed in real time at 2MP (1920x1080), but can be captured at either 2MP or 5MP. The suite includes live viewing, still image capture, measurement, extended depth of field focusing, noise reduction, screen inversion, ROI binning and many more helpful features. The 5MP camera possesses low light sensitivity, which ensures crystal clear images and less glare. This scientific grade camera can be used for all imaging needs and is even sensitive enough to use in fluorescence imaging. Still images can be quickly transferred to any external PC for archiving, emailing, or documenting in-process.

The TKMZ-8TR-A Meiji Stereo-Zoom Trinocular Microscope also includes wide field 10x eyepieces, a focusing arm that utilizes a special 20mm drop arm for added articulation, and an ESD-safe double ball bearing base. The magnification range of the TKMZ-8TR-A is 7 to 45x. Using optional accessories, the range can be extended to a magnification level of up to 225x.

The TKMZ-8TR-A Meiji Stereo-Zoom Trinocular Microscope is supplied with the model ML3000-A Fiber Optic 150W Annular Light. The ML3000-A is a fiber optic illuminator that provides years of high performance use. The illuminator features an internal IR filter that retains all heat to the power box, allowing cool, bright light to enter the fiber optic cable. The solid state design of the ML3000-A provides up to 45% more light than the competition. In addition, its annular ring light guide (36 in. long, 2.35 in. ID) is machined for an extremely slim profile, allowing for maximum working distance when mounted. The ML3000-A furthermore offers fully variable intensity control.
