The ESD safe design of the TKPZT-D ProZoom 6.5 Trinocular Microscope is by all metal construction. Many imported microscopes include plastic components, or topical ESD coatings that will degrade over time. The ProZoom 6.5 series is ESD safe by construction, and will stay ESD safe over the life of the product.

The trinocular microscope body of the TKPZT-D model features true trinocular viewing. What this means, is that you no longer have to sacrifice an eyepiece image, to redirect the image to the video port. You can use the ProZoom 6.5 Trinocular as a standard stereo zoom microscope, as well as be able to view video on an LED screen, or on a PC, in real time.

The 5MP Hybrid HDMI/USB Camera includes an advanced imaging and measurement software suite that runs on all versions of Microsoft Windows as well as Mac OSX. In USB mode, images may be viewed in real time at 2MP (1920x1080), but can be captured at either 2MP or 5MP. The suite includes live viewing, still image capture, measurement, extended depth of field focusing, noise reduction, screen inversion, ROI binning and many more helpful features. The 5MP camera possesses low light sensitivity, which ensures crystal clear images and less glare. This scientific grade camera can be used for all imaging needs and is even sensitive enough to use in fluorescence imaging. Still images can be quickly transferred to any external PC for archiving, emailing, or documenting in-process.

The camera on the TKPZT-D microscope also features an HDMI port, so you can support a second monitor or overhead projector, turning the microscope into a cutting edge training tool. Image capture, digital zoom, screen inversion, ROI binning, and more are all included features.

The TKPZT-D ProZoom 6.5 Trinocular Microscope is equipped with a silky smooth, precision-glide ball bearing arm base assembly, which rests on a heavy-duty weighted base. The microscope also includes the model ML3000-D 150W Halogen Light Source with Dual Gooseneck Fiber Optic Light Guide. The ML3000-D is a fiber optic illuminator that provides years of high performance use. The illuminator features an internal IR filter that retains all heat to the power box, allowing cool, bright light to enter the fiber optic cable. The solid state design of the ML3000-D provides up to 45% more light than the competition. In addition, its bifurcated dual gooseneck offers 18 in. of total fiber reach. A set of focusable lenses is included on the fiber, allowing for optimum light dispersion. You can focus the light into very tight circles, or remove the lenses for a wide broadcast of light. The ML3000-D furthermore offers fully variable intensity control.
