Safety Features to Protect the Lab

The signature SafetyHeat and SmartHeat features provide complete safety. The SafetyHeat function is an industry-leading early detection system that uses two independent safety controls to continuously monitor the electronics and shut off heating before an overtemperature condition occurs. The SmartHeat feature enables the user to adjust the set temperature upper limit of the top plate from 0°C to the rated maximum temperature. Additionally, with the SmartRate function, users can select the speed or temperature ramping rate. The evolved SmartRate system supports heating and stirring from fast and intensive to soft and precise, with a range of accessories to empower a variety of applications. The Run Dry Protection System shuts off heating and alarms, if probe-controlled heating is running without the probe tip submersed in the heating medium.

The smooth, chemical-resistant ceramic top plate is perfect for easy clean up. The ceramic top plates are safer if working with corrosive chemicals that may splash onto the plate surface. The white surface of the ceramic top plate is preferable for quantitative chemical analysis or other work where clear visibility of the sample color is required. The rugged metal housing withstands harsh conditions in the lab.
