The Promax PROLITE-51B Single Mode OTDR is a triple wavelength (1310, 1550 and 1625 nm) optical reflectometer for single mode optical fiber with a dynamic range of 43, 42 and 42 dB respectively. A visual fault locator (VFL) is embedded in the device, helping technicians to quickly locate breaks in the optical fiber cables under analysis.
The PROLITE-51B OTDR allows users to carry out automatic or manual tests, followed by smart, multifunction analysis. Its ergonomic design allows users to hold it firmly thanks to its handle.
The 2 GB internal memory enables storing data that can later be copied and processed in a PC to generate reports and analysis of the measurements. The OTDR also allows for connecting external storage devices via USB.
The PROLITE-51B also provides users the ability to remotely control the device using a USB mouse and keyboard.
