The Ralston SP0V-15PSIG-D Gas Sampling Pump with 15 psi Digital Pressure Gauge, 1/4" Female NPT Reference Connection, can pull low-pressure gas from a well and boost it to 25 psi to pump it into a sample cylinder. The pump features a hard anodized aluminum body and stainless steel fittings, preventing issues with corrosion, cracking or cross contamination of the sample. Furthermore, the inlet and outlet hose have a nylon inner core tube that does not affect the sample. The low compression rate will not adversely affect the sample by bringing the gas close to the hydrocarbon dew point (25 psi/2 bar). In addition, hydrocarbon-free lubricant will not contaminate the sample with any foreign hydrocarbons. The pump is designed in accordance with API MPMS Chapter 14.1 on natural gas sampling. It is ideally suited for use with the purge and fill method of gas sampling.
