Ridgid 456R
Precision Ratcheting Flare Tool for 45° R410A Flares, 1/4" to 3/4"
The RIDGID 456R Precision Ratcheting Flare Tool forms 45° R410A flares. A reversible ratchet enables easier turns. The hardened steel flaring cone is eccentrically mounted in the needle bearings. The rolling action produces uniform flare walls without galling. A clutch automatically releases to iron the flare after it is completed. It flares steel, stainless steel, hard copper and brass tubing through a wall thickness of 0.035".
- Quick and easy to set up
- Provides smooth, uniform flares with minimum effort
- Flares steel, stainless steel, hard copper and brass tubing through a wall thickness of 0.035" (0.9 mm)
- Ratcheting handle turns easily and reduces effort required, especially in confined areas
- Hardened steel flaring cone produces rolling action for even metal flow, creating uniform flare walls without galling
- Cone is eccentrically mounted in needle bearings
- Handle clutch automatically releases to iron and smooth flare when it is complete
- Quick and easy to set up, resulting in improved productivity
- 45° R410A flare sizes: 1/4", 5/16", 3/8", 1/2", 5/8", 3/4"
The RIDGID 456R (70677) Precision Ratcheting Flare Tool is designed to form 45° R410A flares with minimum effort. A reversible ratchet is built into the feed screw handle, enabling it to turn easily and require less motion and effort than a standard handle. The flare tool is also equipped with a hardened steel flaring cone, which is eccentrically mounted in the needle bearings. The cone produces a rolling action for an even metal flow, resulting in uniform flare walls without galling. A clutch automatically releases to iron and smooth the flare after it is completed.
The 456R Flare Tool will flare steel, stainless steel, hard copper and brass tubing through a wall thickness of 0.035" (0.9 mm).
