Heavy Duty Instrument Bender for 5/16 in. (8 mm) Stainless Steel and Hard Tubing (Imperial/Metric)
The RIDGID 605/608M Heavy Duty Instrument Bender bends hard tubing from 90° to 180° without crossing the handles. Lock/unlock easily with a half-turn of the handle. Roll dies reduce tube flattening and force required for bending. Gain marks ensure properly aligned bending angles.
- Extra long 16" handles increase leverage
- Uses both imperial and metric sizing
- Tube size capacity: 5/16" O.D.
- Bend radius: 15/16"
- Designed to easily bend hard tubing, including stainless steel, steel, titanium, and copper
- Two-stage design allows for in-place bending from 90° to 180° without ever crossing handles
- Lock/unlock with a simple half turn rotation of the bending handle
- Extra long 16 in. handles increase leverage
- Roll dies in the bending form reduce force needed
- Vise clamp built into bending form to provide extra stability
- Gain marks on front of form ensure properly aligned bending angles

The RIDGID 605/608M (38038) Heavy Duty Instrument Bender is specially designed for bending hard tubing, including stainless steel, steel, copper, and titanium. A simple two-stage design allows bends from 90° to 180° without ever crossing the handles, keeping bends in-plane and accurate. Lock/unlock easily with a half-turn rotation of the bending handle.
Roll dies in the bending form work to reduce tube flattening (ovality) as well as the force required for bending. Gain marks on front of the form ensure properly aligned bending angles. The extra-long handles increase leverage, while the cushioned handle grips improve bending ease.
The 605/608M Instrument Bender can be used either hand held or while mounted in a vise (not included). Vise mounting provides extra stability and is especially useful when bending hard or thick-walled materials.
