The Seaward DO5002 Programmable Digital Microhmmeter is suited for laboratory testing of samples and for production line testing. With the addition of the interfaces of RS232/IEEE-488 or optional PLC, the DO5002 Microhmmeter may be remotely controlled and integrated into an automated testing system.

This unit has an automatic temperature compensation and high/low limits permits sorting of components with minimum issues. Statistical analysis of these values allows users to display the max/min/average values as well as peak-to-peak and standard deviation. Additionally, the DO5002 is capable of calculating cable lengths in ohms or meters. When used in fast-measuring mode, the DO5002 is capable of performing 50 measurements per second. This fast measurement speed allows the user to monitor the change in resistance due to heat increase or other factors to a high degree of accuracy.
