The Teledyne FLIR K1 Thermal Imaging Camera for Situational Awareness, 160 x 120, 9 Hz is a rugged, compact thermal camera that serves as an extra set of eyes on the fire scene, allowing commanders, officers, and inspectors to quickly complete a 360° assessment in total darkness and through smoke. With a bright, integrated flashlight, the Teledyne FLIR K1 illuminates the scene to help the user steer and manage the crew more effectively. It also displays 160 x 120 pixel thermal images that help users gain additional situation awareness that is not possible with the naked eye. The Teledyne FLIR K1 is pocket-portable or attaches easily to a belt using the included pouch - making it easy to have on-hand for investigations around buildings, industrial settings, traffic accidents, wildland calls, or search and rescue activities.

MSX Technology

Multi-Spectral Dynamic Imaging (MSX) Technology adds visible spectrum definition to IR images by detecting the edges of objects. Text becomes clearly visible so that you can read a label or identifier within the IR image. This exclusive function provides extraordinary thermal detail that instantly highlights and orients problem locations and eliminates the need to refer back to a visual image for detail.
