Users can take advantage of the easy to use interface that allows for easy setup and operation with a touchscreen or push-buttons. 4 motors for precision cladding alignment of any type of fiber provide fast splicing and dependable performance. The TREND Networks R301-S40K features an average splice time of 7 seconds in fast mode. This tool features a fiber cladding range of 80 - 150μm and a fiber coating range of 160 - 3000μm. Users are provided with a tool that has an operating battery life of 5 hours and a standby battery life of 8 hours. One full charge allows users to complete 240 splices. The R301-S40K is supplied with a protected cover that protects the splicer in all conditions. A USB port is also included for uploading software updates, and downloading splice results. The splice protection heater supports 25mm to 60mm shrink sleeves with SOC (splice on connector) support. Store up to 8,000 results with the S40 splicer.
