With extremely fast heat-up and recovery times, it handles everything from small components to large applications effortlessly. With connectable active cartridge tips and soldering tools, users are provided with a comprehensive range of accessories for use with this unit. For a cleaner workspace, users can connect to a ZeroSmog Fume Extraction Unit (sold separately) as well. The WTMP MS Micro Soldering Iron Handpiece, RTM 013 S MS Micro Soldering Tip, WTPP MS Nano/Pico Soldering Iron Handpiece, RTP 004 S MS Nano/Pico Soldering Tip, and WSR 205 Safety Rests all come standard with the WT 2022M kit.

The WTMP MS is designed to hold micro soldering tips that are versatile for both micro and standard components when used with the WT 1M, WT 2M, or WR 3M units. These tips, such as the included RTM 013 S MS, are ideal for small-to-medium-sized solder joints with medium power requirements and can be quickly and easily exchanged on the handpiece. The active tip cartridge system allows for the exchange of soldering tips even with a hot soldering iron in operation. For users requiring fast operation, the WTMP MS offers an extremely short heating time of only 5 seconds.

The WTPP MS is designed to hold nano/pico-soldering tips that are ideal for soldering ultra-small SMDs from 0402 to 01005 when used with the WT 1M, WT 2M, or WR 3M units. These tips, such as the included RTP 004 S MS, are ideal for working on tiny components and pads with moderate power requirements and can be quickly and easily exchanged on this handpiece. The active tip cartridge system allows for the exchange of soldering tips even with a hot soldering iron in operation. For users requiring fast operation, the WTPP MS offers an extremely short heating time of only 3 seconds.

The WSR 205 Safety Rest offers users both dry and wet cleaning abilities. To conserve energy, reduce tip wear, and minimize the risk of accidental burns or damage, this rest features a 'stop-and-go' function which will automatically reduce power once the tool is placed in it. When the tool is lifted again, it quickly returns to the set operating temperature.
