The Yellow Jacket 93867 Ball Valve Adapter is designed for use with the A2L refrigerants of R-32 and R-454B which have now adopted left-handed connections for their tanks. Due to these refrigerants being slightly flammable, left-handed connections were implemented to differentiate them from the non-flammable A1 refrigerants. The 93867 incorporates a left-handed connection so that service technicians can safely charge A2L refrigeration systems.

The 93867 features a 45 degree ball valve configuration with a quarter inch left-handed female flare to quarter inch right-handed male flare connection. The double ring on the tightening knurl for left-handed connections allows for service technicians to easily identify that this adapter is compatible with A2L refrigeration systems while out in the field. The adapter features a CH14 'adjust-a-valve' opener on the female end and can work with or without a Schrader core.
