The AEMC PEL 105-W/4-196A-24-BK (2137.59) Multi-Phase Power and Energy Logger is a simple-to-use, one, two (split phase), and three phase power and energy data logger that is capable of monitoring both traditional and renewable energy sources. This unit monitors and records True-RMS voltage and current, power, energy, cost, and harmonics locally or from anywhere in the world. The instrument is built into a waterproof case with an IP67 rating which is ideal for outdoor use. The design of the instrument enables it to be pole mounted and can also be powered from a phase being monitored.

This product is ideal for electricians, engineers, and contractors doing work in the area of building, system monitoring, and upgrades, as well as residential and overall energy audits. All vital energy data is easily measured, recorded, and analyzed. Reports can be generated with confidence with minimal configuration time and effort with standard and customizable reports supplied.

The AEMC PEL 105-W/4-196A-24-BK (2137.59) Multi-Phase Power and Energy Logger's design enables it to be installed inside a load center panel-- including the current sensors-- allowing the door to close on most panels. The PEL 105-W/4-196A-24-BK (2137.59) offers all the essential functions for logging power and energy data from most electrical power networks in use today across the world with 17 network set-ups provided. The PEL 105-W/4-196A-24-BK (2137.59) energy logger measures and records three voltage inputs and current inputs, watts, VARS, VA, and Energy in both kWh and kVA. Power Factor (PF), Displacement Power Factor (DPF), Crest Factor, Frequency, and THD are calculated and recorded as well. Individual harmonic percent information from 1 to the 50th harmonic are recorded at the operator's choice. All variables are recorded and stored at an one second interval and on user-selectable demand intervals from 1 to 60 minutes.

The comprehensive DataView software provides the ability to view data from several hundred PEL units on a local network or over the internet. This provides the ability to evaluate energy usage on a department or facility basis anywhere in the world. Real-time data can be reviewed as well as downloading stored results for analysis and report generation.

Configuration of the PEL 105-W/4-196A-24-BK (2137.59) takes place through the DataView software either locally or remotely. Most of the configured parameters are pre-set in the instrument to help keep the user interface simple, straightforward, and easy to complete in a few minutes. Current probes are automatically defined and calibrated when they are plugged into the unit. User selections include network type, demand interval, recording length, voltage, current ratios where necessary, recording duration (defined either by time and/or date), and communication method. Password protection can be initiated for Bluetooth and network communication to guard against unauthorized access and protection of data integrity.

The DataView software provides the ability to review power, harmonic, and RMS data in real time and to download recorded sessions for more extensive analysis and report generation. One second trend and demand interval trend graphs and tabular listings can be displayed and printed out. Energy costs can be calculated. Source and load graphs can be plotted. Individual phase and the sum of all phases can be evaluated. Once on-screen, the user has access to a variety of analytical tools to analyze individual data points or sections of the recorded data without the added frustration of multiple button pushes to obtain information.
