Details

The Graphtec GL980 8-Channel True-RMS High-Speed Voltage and Temperature Data Logger allows for users to obtain voltage, temperature, humidity, logic, and pulse measurements simultaneously at high speeds. This logger is ideal for measurement of control devices, measurement as an XY recorder, measurement for testing washer or dryer units, and measurement for brake components testing.

The GL980 is equipped with an isolated input mechanism to protect signals from interferences caused by noise from other channels. The 16-bit A/D converter has been adopted to achieve high-speed and high-resolution measurement. Abnormalities in a repeated waveform are measured by measuring the corresponding RMS value. Repetitive waveforms, such as vibration, can be measured with instantaneous value and effective value. The scaling function works by converting the measured voltage value to a specified engineering unit. Four arithmetic operations of addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division are available via two analog input channels. The trigger function includes level trigger of the input signal value for each channel. For each channel, the threshold for alarms can be set by the user.

For ease of viewing, the large and easy-to-read seven inch LCD screen offers users the ability to monitor data via multiple methods in addition to digital value display and full waveform display screens. The set-up process is fast and easy via the cursor and ENTER keys along with the menu-driven operation. Long-term recording is possible with the built-in RAM and Flash memory. Both USB Flash and SD Card memory are supported as external storage devices for recorded data for certain sampling intervals. Convenient data recording functions, such as the memory division function, ring mode, relay mode, data backup, search function, auto-save function, and ability to save or replay data in a CVS format all work to create an easier data logging experience. The GL980 is equipped with both Ethernet (LAN) and USB interface for communication with the user's PC. The PC software allows for PC measurements and features multiple measurement screens including Y-T waveforms and XY charts.
