Users are provided with a lightweight and ergonomic tool that has a fixed soldering temperature due to Metcal's SmartHeat Inductive Heating Technology. The attached cable is thick for easier handling and long for added versatility. The tip alignment is adjustable for added precision.

The Metcal MFT-WS10 Work Stand is a multi-functional tool designed to hold the user's MicroFine MX-H9-MFH MX Soldering Tweezer Handpiece along with their compatible cartridges. This unit includes hands-free tip removal and alignment, a built-in cartridge holder, an adjustable handpiece cradle, a replaceable brass cleaning brush, and an easy-empty debris containment basin.
