The Phabrix PHQXPO-DOLBY Dolby E Decoder and Metadata Analyzer Advanced Toolset Option provides a clear and accessible view of the Dolby E metadata present in a selected Dolby E or ED2 audio stream. This toolset also enables the user to check the correct timing of Dolby E packets in the audio signal in an SDI or ST 2022-6 broadcast chain. SDI usage requires the PHQXP01-3G or PHQXP01E-3G model (not included) of Phabrix Waveform Analyzers and Generators.

The user can check whether the Dolby E or Dolby ED2 is created correctly and transferred transparently by network equipment such as routers, switchers, or satellite links. The user can also choose to monitor the Dolby audio from any of the SDI/2022-6 embedded audio, 2110-30/-31, or AES inputs. The decoded output and downmix can be metered, monitored, loudness measured, and routed to AES outputs.
