The Ridgid 74758 Pipe Patch Packer (3 to 4 in.) is made out of flexible, durable, silicone-coated rubber and can be used on over 100 patches when properly maintained. This packer is engineered to be used in multiple pipe configurations such as straight pipe, 90-degree bends, P-traps, or transitions. The 74758 features a length of seven feet, can be used on pipes three to four inches in size, and offers a maximum patch length of six feet.

This packer has an internally installed fiberglass push rod which delivers higher rigidity without sacrificing flexibility and allows for easy navigation. Depending on the environment, air push rods or pull rope (not included) can move the packer to the patch location. Furthermore, the connection method allows for the packer to be rotated by air push rods (not included) to push through tight bends or transitions. Ball and spring leader guides (not included) can also aid in pipe navigation for the packer.

This packer inflates from the center outwards which means that if there is standing water within the pipe, the packer will remove it from the patch location. The packer can be fully repaired or rebuilt for the ability to serve a longer service life.
