The RIDGID 916-300-Compact (48307) Portable Roll Groover for Model 300 Compact Machine is a durable and efficient lightweight portable roll groover. Built with a solid, durable cast-iron housing, it withstands heavy usage, yet is light enough for easy transportation. The 916 features a patented single stroke feed mechanism that allows for accurate operation quickly and effortlessly.

The 916 forms standard roll grooves in steel, stainless steel and aluminum pipe. The included roll sets are suitable for 1 1/4" to 6" Schedule 10 pipe (1 1/4" to 3" Schedule 40 pipe); the machine can also be adapted for 1" Schedule 10, 1" Schedule 40, 2" to 6" copper types K, L, M, and DWV with a roll change (additional rolls sold separately). The grooves are formed by a grooving roll fed into a drive roll to the specifications required for mechanical coupling systems. The only adjustment needed is for the depth of the groove.

The 916 Roll Groover is designed for specific use with the 300 Compact Threading Machine (sold separately). Different 916 models are required for alternative power sources or mounting operations.
