The Teledyne FLIR T840-DFOV-24-42 Handheld Thermal Imager is a powerful and ergonomic non-contact inspection tool. The 180° tilting optic design makes it comfortable, safe, and easy to assess the condition of critical electrical and mechanical equipment all day long. With advanced features including unmatched temperature measurements, high levels of accuracy, 1-Touch Level/Span contrast enhancement, and laser-assisted autofocus, users will get highly accurate temperature measurements every time. This T800 Series camera is paired with a FLIR FlexView dual field-of-view lens for the convenience to instantly switch from wide-area to telephone scanning. With the on-board Inspection Route system, users can record temperature data and imagery in a logical sequence for faster troubleshooting and repair.

The T840-DFOV-24-42 comes standard with the FlexView Dual FOV 42°/24° Lens. This lens improves image detail and measurement accuracy without sacrificing convenience in order to enable better decisions and improve worker safety. The improved efficiency and accuracy includes the wide FOV lens which allows for rapid scanning in order to detect anomalies and a standard FOV lens for focusing on areas of interest. This lens is lightweight for easier carrying around jobsites and enables users to spend less time exchanging lenses in the fields. With this dual FOV lens, there is less risk of dropping a lens or contaminating sensitive lens or camera parts by having to change lens in dusty or wet conditions.
