IFOV Warner - Precise Measurements
The IFOV Warner function means that the distance from the measurement object or measurement spot size is determined and the measurement spot is shown on the thermal image. Users can therefore avoid measurement errors because the imager shows exactly what can be measured.
ScaleAssist - Comparable Thermal Images
With the Testo ScaleAssist function, the correct evaluation of construction errors and thermal bridges is easier than ever. The function automatically sets the optimal thermal image scale. This prevents interpretation errors which can be caused by a false evaluation of the scaling. Undesired extreme temperatures are automatically filtered out of the image and are only represented as such when they actually are present. This allows for infrared images comparable in spite of altered ambient conditions. This function is ultimately ideal for before-and-after images.
ε-Assist - Set Emissivity Automatically
For precise thermal images, it is of high importance to set the emissivity (ε) and reflected temperature (RTC) of the object being examined on the imager. Previously, this process was complicated and less than accurate. With the Testo ε-Assist function, users can simply attach one of the reference stickers to the measurement object. With the integrated digital camera, the imager will recognize the sticker, determine the emissivity and reflect temperature, and then set both values automatically.
Thermography App - Work Smart and Networked
The Testo Thermography app, available for both iOS and Android, allows for users to quickly create reports and save them online or send them over email. Aside from report creation, the app offers useful tools for fast analysis on the jobsite. Users can insert additional measurement points, determine the temperature development via a line, or add comments to a thermal image. Users can transmit thermal images live to their smartphone or tablet and then use it as a second display.
