Great Image Quality with 30:1 Zoom Range and Full-HD Image Resolution

EVO Cam ICON enhances inspection accuracy and efficiency with striking clarity and detail. The high-quality Camera, sensor, bespoke objective lenses, and advanced software features work together to deliver stunning image quality. With a 30:1 optical zoom range and up to 725x magnification, users can easily detect those anomalies. The digital zoom extends this to further, while full HD video, manual and automatic focusing ensure ultra-sharp images every time. The powerful processing capabilities allow for rapid image capture and analysis, making inspection processes faster and more efficient. Images are displayed in Full-HD quality at 1080p. The frame refresh rate of 60 frames per second ensures images are seen without delay and free from image blur caused by subject movement.

Polarized incident lighting can be coupled with a polarized filter on the objective lens, to reduce reflections from highly reflective samples. Further enhancement can be achieved using the WD mode on EVO Cam ICON. Aperture priority mode controls the depth of focus by adjusting EVO Cam ICON’s iris aperture. The Camera automatically adjusts other settings to maintain image brightness. Users can decide how much of the subject is in focus, without the complication of manual exposure.

Efficient Workflow and Consistency with 10 Preset Settings

With its clean design and interface, operating the EVO Cam ICON is straightforward, efficient, and seamlessly integrates into workflows. Out of the box, users can set up the EVO Cam ICON in minutes. Then simply turn the Camera on to begin viewing and capturing full HD images. The intuitive on-screen controls and multiple language options mean that users are quickly proficient with minimal training. 10 Programmable ‘Presets’ allow saving and quick recall of settings for efficient use and consistency of inspections. Presets can also be exported and imported allowing customers to share settings between units and across sites. Presets record calibrations for easy measurements at different magnifications.

EVO Cam ICON’s large zoom range means measurement of different sized components can be made without the need for multiple systems. Presets can be saved with calibrations for different zoom positions making dimensioning measurements quick and easy. Measurement can be made between X and Y cursors or diagonal measurement between opposing corners. Preset settings can be exported and imported, allowing settings to be shared for increased consistency of operation. Users can achieve consistency of inspection standards across multiple units and multiple sites. Individual Presets or entire Camera settings can be exported and imported, allowing all 10 Presets, to be saved and replicated across multiple sites.

Versatile Operation to Customize to User Needs

For stand-alone operation, the EVO Cam ICON can be connected directly to a monitor with images saved onto a USB stick, removing the cost and complications of supporting a dedicated PC. Most features of EVO Cam ICON can be accessed without need for a PC. For PC connection, the EVO Cam ICON can connect direct to a PC via USB3 port. Live video images can be sent from the Camera to a PC to be used with imaging and dimensioning software. Use a webCam with windows apps or add functionality and control with Vision Engineering suite of software.

The EVO Cam ICON menu also provides support text to aid the user’s operation. This text is available in Chinese, English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish. For mounting, the EVO Cam ICON comes with the same dovetail mount as the EVO Cam 2. The EVO Cam ICON is compatible with a variety of stands, lenses and accessories. Users can select what best suits their working environment and application.
