The Wayne Kerr 7011 Transfer Standard Kit consists of surface mount style transfer standards that must be used when extension leads or fixtures (other than the model 1J1011) are used with a 6500 Series instrument. They allow the open circuit, short circuit, and HF compensation routines to be performed.

The 7011 Kit should be used with fixtures that accept surface mount style components, such as the 1J1012 (2-terminal SMD Fixture) and 1J1014 (4-terminal SMD Fixture).

A quantity of two of each component is supplied in the kit, although only 1 of each type is required for the trimming and HF Compensation routines. The second component is supplied as a spare, since individual surface mount components can be easily lost.

Open Circuit Trim is performed with no component fitted.
