The Mighty Cam Eidos camera features a 5M Sony sensor that provides stunning high-quality images to view on the built in 11.6” HD monitor. This eliminates the eye strain and body fatigue associated with frequent optical microscope use. It features a compact 16.3” (414 mm) articulating arm with two articulating joints on a 17.7” (450 mm) post. Operators can raise/lower and rotate the arm to the ideal position. The built-in table clamp secures to the side of a work bench, featuring dual locks for added stability. The included computational imaging software provides users with more functions such as: calibration editor, radius measurement, 2 point circle, 3 point circle, crosshair, line measurement tool, center distance, concentric circle tool, annotation tool, and screenshot tool.

This allows users to leverage any imaging software of their preference for further analysis and manipulation of the captured images (please note, Aven does not offer imaging software for this feature).

LED Ring Light and Focus Mount

The ring light consists of 60 eco-friendly daylight LEDs producing a light intensity of 35,000 lux and a color temperature of 5600K. The LEDs are rated for over 20,000 hours of service. The ring light is mounted securely onto Aven's standard focus mount to ensure that it is secure and will not come loose unlike ring lights attached to the lenses. The unit includes a power supply box with variable dimming control.
