The TREND Networks R240-VIP FiberMASTER Video Inspection Probe allows for magnified end-face inspection of fiber optic connectors in order to check for contaminates or damage. When used with a compatible instrument of a FiberMASTER Optical Time-Domain Reflectometer (OTDR), Power Meter (PM), or Light Source (LS), the probe can be used to capture images of the connector on each end of the cabling. Handy features like auto-centering, zoom, and PASS/FAIL mode offer a faster method of determining the state of a fiber optic connector. The large variety of optional compatible video probe tips and adapters allows the user to customize the probe based on the needed specifications at hand.
